Sigismund's 1000pt List: (Sigis, insert list here)

Started trying play a Thousand Sons and Plague Marine squad to any of my lists lately to get a feel on how they play game-wise while I get some painting done. Sigismund went all shooty with lascannons, plasma guns, heavy bolters and missile launchers in a lot of combat squads, as well as a couple of multi-melta attack bikes. I tried to take the straight forward approach (aka, run/zoom forward and get into close combat) with Sigis pulling out all the stops and shooting with almost everything he's got including through windows in the hopes of taking down the Vindicator (only succeeding in destroying the demolisher cannon) while both his attack bikes went for the obvious target in the Defiler.

MVP honors should go to the Defiler, who was able to get into close combat with both attack bikes and wreak havoc along the Blood Ravens' battle line, while the Plague Marines took out the Librarian and a few combat squads from the other flank. Game ends on the 5th turn, with the killpoint score 7-1 in favor of the Black Legion.

Game2 - Deadeye(Tau) vs. BattleCaptain(CSM-Black Legion)
Mission: 1000pt Capture and Control
Deployment: Spearhead
Result: Draw!

Game3 - Kuneho(Tyranids-Hivefleet Conqueror) vs. Oberon(Sisters of Battle)
Mission: 1500pt Capture and Control
Deployment: Spearhead
Result: Kuneho Wins! 1-0 Oberon no more troops while Kuneho was reduced to 2 genestealer models to claim the objective.

Game4 - Kyuzo(CSM-Black Legion) vs. Henri(SW-Iron Wolves)
Mission: Seize Ground (3 counters)
Deployment: Pitched Battle
Result: Draw! 1-1 and 1 (to be) contested

Used the same list to go up against the vicious Iron Wolves (ok ba sa build-up Henri? hehehe...). Things were a bit tactical, particularly on the spacing of units so as to get a better chance on who will be able to charge who, plus the additional challenge that Henri kept most of his units inside their Rhinos so that my Lash wont be of much help to my tactics. Had no choice but to bust the Rhinos open with the Defiler or by close combat in the hopes of taking out Henri's troops.

With the night starting to drag for the onlookers (ie. the troops were getting thirsty... :P) Henri and I mutually agreed to call it a draw at the start of the 5th Turn with both sides claiming 1 objective each while the third one will most likely be contested. Good game man.

Most of the guys went on over to Baliwag for a couple of buckets to end the day (Epic FAIL!!! Bwahahaha!). Good gaming. Until the next Battle Bunker Session. Session ends 12:30am. :D
