M41.78.01.31 – Preparations
After a near defeat at the hands of Demons, the Patrol was not finished, Librarian Sevein felt a disturbance, and He knew the hive fleet was coming, it was an invasion! He quickly called for reinforcements from Battle Barge Achromatous; Master of the Forge Thestor heeded the call! And 2 Thunderhawks came plunging from the skies to deliver its cargo of 3 Dreadnoughts, 3 Tactical Squads, a Terminator Squad, and Terminator Assault Squad in a Landraider.

M41.78.02.02 – Invasion Begins
Preparations were made hastily; as the hive approached the sky became black with their massive numbers, large monstrous creatures, Librarian Sevein, called them out as they arrived on surface. 5 Carnifex, 2 Hive Tyrants with guards, a brood of Hormogaunts and 2 broods of Genestealers, or was it 3?! It would take the hive another day to reach our location, but we were meeting them head on!

As the dawn came, we bolstered our defenses, said our prayers, and readied ourselves for the trials to come. But within the next minutes, the hive has just taken the initiative! The beast thundered across the field, but with calm and resilience, we focused our efforts on ridding this planet of its foul presence, Epistolary Sevein maneuvered his squad to the right while every battle brother, with the aid of the Venerated Dreadnoughts singled out the larger beast! One by one they fell, plunging to the ground like heavy rocks, with triumphant jubilation for each dead monster; a battle brother would shout his last battle cry! It would not be enough, we had to tactically withdrew, but with each step back we took, we made them pay for it, dearly! We knew this was just the beginning, we called in an additional battle cruiser, this is the prelude to a larger conflict, Chapter Master Marneus Calgar knew this and is prepared to hold nothing back!
